#AskZBrush: Is there a way to have a Sculpting Brush follow a Curve?
The Curve Mode allows a curve to be applied to the currently selected brush. As with other Stroke settings, this option is enabled per brush and is not globally. Curve Mode will allow you to draw a curve and then sweep your stroke along it. Depending on the selected options, the curve will be deformable and/or. Snapshot the curve so that the sculpting and/or polypaint is applied to the model. The curve can then be adjusted or moved to a new position before repeating.

I am simply trying to apply an alpha brush along a curve to create a stitch line - any ideas how I could achieve this without having to use an insert mesh brush? If you want to avoid using inserted meshes then one possibility would be to duplicate the subtool, apply the InsertMesh brush to the curves on the duplicate, then project the result on to the original subtool. Note: If both Lock Start and Lock End are active, manipulating an end point will override this setting for that point. I now have my curves drawn exactly where I want them but I cant seem to get them to update when I click on them.
